Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BetterVisibility (the “Service”), operated by BetterVisibility (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and “you” refers to it.

1. The Service

BetterVisibility monitors public online communities (such as Reddit and Hacker News) for conversations matching keywords you configure, scores them with AI, and drafts suggested replies. The Service never posts on your behalf — publishing any reply is always your action and your responsibility.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account and workspace, including team members you invite and API keys you create. Notify us promptly at support@bettervisibility.co if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment provider Stripe.
• Some plans include a 7-day free trial (the pricing page states which). If your plan includes a trial, you can cancel any time before it ends and you will not be charged; plans without a trial are billed at checkout.
• Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide prorated refunds except where required by law.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to spam, harass, deceive, or manipulate online communities, or to violate any platform’s rules (including Reddit’s and Hacker News’ terms and self-promotion guidelines);
• post AI-drafted replies without reviewing them and without complying with any applicable disclosure requirements;
• resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except through features we provide for that purpose;
• attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data;
• use the Service in violation of applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Your content and data

You retain all rights to the content you provide (project details, brand context, edited replies). You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the Service. Monitored content belongs to its original authors and the platforms it was posted on; the Service surfaces it for your review under those platforms’ terms.

6. AI-generated content

Relevance scores and reply drafts are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for a given thread. They are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for anything you publish.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is our intellectual property. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it during your subscription.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that every relevant conversation will be found or that monitoring is uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may cancel your subscription and delete your workspace at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms. Upon workspace deletion we remove the data associated with it as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
