How it works

From keyword to customer in three steps

01

Tell us what you sell

Add your product and website — we suggest the keywords and communities worth watching, from category terms to “<competitor> alternative” phrases.

02

We surface the right threads

Every match is scored 0–100 for relevance and buying intent by AI, so your inbox holds the five conversations that matter — not five hundred that don't.

03

You reply — as yourself

Each high-intent mention arrives with a reply drafted in your brand voice, plus the community's rules. Review, tweak, press submit from your own account.

The product

What you'll open every morning

One inbox for the threads that matter, plus the visibility data behind them. No vanity metrics between you and the reply button.

Features

Built for founders, not social media managers

No vanity dashboards. Every feature exists to turn a conversation into a customer — safely.

Buying-intent detection

“Anyone recommend a tool for…” scores higher than a passing name-drop. Filter your inbox to the posts where someone has a wallet open.

AI drafts, human posting

Replies are written in your voice with disclosure baked in. We never auto-post — that's how accounts get banned, and why communities trust yours.

Safe-commenting guidance

Live subreddit rules, self-promo ratio warnings, and account-warmth advice sit next to every draft. The tool that keeps you unbanned.

Outcome tracking

Mark a reply posted and we track its upvotes and responses — so you know which communities and angles actually convert.

Competitor tracking

Watch “<competitor> alternative” and “vs” threads. When someone is unhappy with the tool you compete with, you're the first helpful answer.

AI-agent ready

REST API, signed webhooks, and an MCP server. Your own agents can pick up mentions and drafts and run your workflow end to end.

Asked to ChatGPT

“What's the best analytics tool for a small SaaS?”

…a popular choice in founder communities is YourProduct, often recommended in r/SaaS threads for its simple setup…

Cited: r/SaaS · “Looking for a GA alternative” · 340 upvotes

AI visibility (GEO)

Track your brand mentions in AI answers, too

When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini for “the best tool for…”, those answers are built from community threads — mostly Reddit. BetterVisibility checks how often AI assistants recommend your brand, shows which threads they cite, and points you at the conversations to win so tomorrow's answers include you.

  • See when ChatGPT and Google AI answers mention you — and your competitors
  • Trace every AI recommendation back to the threads it cites
  • Reply in those threads first — the source material for future answers

For AI agents & automations

Your agent does the legwork. You press submit.

Wire mentions into Claude, Cursor, Zapier, n8n, or your own stack. Webhooks fire the moment a high-intent thread appears; the API and MCP server expose every mention and draft. The one thing we never automate is the posting — that stays human.

Account safety

Built so you never get banned

The fastest way to lose this channel is to automate it. Every design decision starts from keeping your account trusted.

Never auto-posts

Every reply is posted by you, from your own account. To the community it's indistinguishable from writing it yourself — because you did.

Disclosure baked in

Drafts mention your affiliation by default. Transparent replies are the ones communities upvote instead of reporting.

Live community rules

Each subreddit's current rules sit next to the draft, so you never learn a “no self-promo” policy from a ban notice.

Account-warmth guidance

Self-promo ratio warnings and pacing advice keep your account looking like a member, not a marketer.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Will this get my Reddit account banned?+

Not the way we built it. BetterVisibility never posts on your behalf — you post manually from your own account, which is indistinguishable from writing the reply yourself. What does get accounts banned is breaking community rules, so we show each subreddit's live rules and self-promo guidance next to every draft.

Which platforms do you monitor?+

Reddit, Hacker News, and Bluesky on every plan. Pro adds X (Twitter), GitHub, dev.to, Product Hunt, and YouTube — and gets every new platform first.

Can I track brand mentions in ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini?+

Yes. Our AI-visibility tracking (sometimes called GEO or AEO) checks how often AI assistants mention or recommend your brand, and shows which community threads those answers cite. Since AI answers lean heavily on Reddit and other communities, the mentions you win today become the AI recommendations you show up in tomorrow.

How is this different from a social listening tool like Mention or Brand24?+

Classic brand monitoring tools count mentions for reports. We find the individual threads where replying wins you a customer, score them for buying intent, and hand you the reply — it's a lead-generation workflow, not a monitoring dashboard.

What does “AI-agent ready” mean?+

Everything in the dashboard is available programmatically: a REST API with per-org keys, HMAC-signed webhooks that fire the moment a mention is found, and an MCP server so Claude, Cursor, or your own agent can read mentions and mark them handled.

Is there a free trial?+

Starter and Team start with a 7-day free trial with full features. Pro has no trial — it unlocks the paid platform integrations (like X) immediately, so billing starts at checkout. Every plan can be cancelled anytime from the billing portal.

The conversation is happening either way.

Be in it — helpfully, safely, and before your competitor is.
